Welcome to the new “Gary’s Space – Cruising with the Guertin’s”.
First I want to address my old blogs (Cruises) that have been moved over from the old “spaces.live” site. The blogs themselves are easy to find since they have been moved into the body of this new site “garyguertin.wordpress.com” As I said in my opening, what you won’t find easily is the photo albums. I have found a way by using links in the sideboard (the right column of the blog) for you to see those photo albums by clicking on the title of the blog you are reading. For now I have only done the last three blogs from the old site. Once you click on the appropriate photo album you can go back and forth by clicking the back and forth arrows in the top left of the site. I will leave these connections for awhile, but will have to pull them down so I can clean up the new site.
OK, enough for old business, let’s get on to the next cruise on the new site. On Friday, November 12, 2010 Susy and I start a 28 day cruise from Fort Lauderdale through the Panama Canal, then up to San Diego and return, again through the Panama Canal to Fort Lauderdale on Friday, December 10, 2010.
Here’s a look at the itinerary:
What do you think? From now on you don’t have to go back and forth from the writing to the picture. I’ll have the pictures wrapped right into the blog. Looking forward to your comments, which, by the way, you can make at the end of each blog entry. Oh, if you have a hard time reading the itinerary above you can magnify it. Look in the bottom right hand corner of your screen just above the time and you will see (most of the time) 100%. Just click on the arrow next to it and a menu of percentages will open. Set it at 125% or 150% until you can read the itinerary. You may like to leave your screen at that percentage, but if a web site looks distorted just set it back to 100% and everything will go back to normal.
Look for my 2nd Panama Canal post about November 14th or so after we start sailing,
Love You All, Gary (alias Gagu)
